Thank you! I meant to mention that but totally forgot. I studied about sixteen hours over the course of five days including reading the chapters in the textbook (skipping the case studies in the back) and going over all the notes, flashcards, and supplemental information.

Thanks. That gives me a target. Wasn't sure if this was a 20, 40, or 60 hour exam.

I passed. Would have preferred a higher score, but I will take it. It was easier than I thought it would be, but I wouldn't call it an easy exam. Reading the chapters and working on the lists was the most helpful. While reading the book, I focused on the chapters and the examples within the chapters and skipped the key points, chapter questions, and the long case studies at the end of the book. IC cards were helpful. For the lists, I focused on bricabrac's notes and also Nyarpy's flashcards. Instead of just memorizing the lists, I tried to review them in a paragraph format. I found this helped with the essays. Going in I was nervous about the time limit, but without the computer crash, I would have finished in about 2 hours. About 20 hours of (not very efficient) studying. Could have been less if I focused a little better. Having previously taken Business Ethics, International Business, Management, and parts of Organizational Behavior helped a lot.

Nobody is really posting their grade on here, so i wanted to make my reply after i got that back. 68% for .2 seconds, i thought i failed my first exam, then i remembered 60% to pass. phew! regarding studying, when people say know the lists, they dont mean in the fashion you'd need to know them to pick them out of a multiple guess test. you need to memorize them. memorize Cultures definition. Memorize the benefits to diversifying, etc. you're right, you only need 60% to pass, so its definitely doable and there have been exams that i was closer to failing than this one. I read those first chapters in an old edition book, i looked over those quizlets cards that are well written and helpful, but those note by bricabrac are the bomb and really helped solidify things in my brain. 1 more class left, business in society. I'm more scared of it now only because I know about those short answer essay questions.
End goal is to get a cheap bachelor degree {CIS} that transfers to online master's degree at ncsu. I'm thinking statistics because less prerequisites. Vs computer science.

If you don't pass that (or don't want to take it), the Study.com course BUS 308: Globalization and International Management will fulfill that slot for you.

I now see the Thomas Edison State University but it doesn't say that Study.com's BUS-308=TESU BUS-311. Sanantone's Post July 2015 wiki on BSBA CIS has been my track thus far. why isn't this on there? is this official enough information for me to add to this? I've already applied for Dec 1 graduation. I'm cutting it close as it is. all cards are riding on me passing BUS-311 on the 17th. A special thanks for the advertisement of this study.com that i somehow missed over the last year.

It's new, so Sanantone probably hasn't updated with those new Study.com courses (there are a bunch that were added in the last few months, and then additionally we have to get notification from TESU of what the course equivalencies are): Thomas Edison State University
There are several people on here who have used it as their International Business course with no problem. I think if you're worried, you can call TESU and have them pre-approve it for you, they normally will do it right over the phone if they have the course info, which they should have for this.
