Oh, these were for their science courses like Biology, Earth Science, Meteorology, etc.
On their powerpoint slides, the bottom line has the links to the corresponding youtube vid.

I used a calculator for Finance 401. I just assumed you could use it given the subject matter. I haven't had any proctor problems.

I think, for most exams, the quizzes and the slides (powerpoint presentation) should be enough.
Most of those presentations/slides are very concise and bring you to youtube videos, etc...
I needed to look things up online. I also used older editions of the textbooks sometimes. I could have passed without the textbooks, and maybe without having looked things up. But some of the slides are really confusing if you have no prior knowledge and don't look them up. For example, one used an acronym without defining it. I was lost. And I am a good test taker (and have some prior knowledge, but not about that acronym).

Yes for corporate finance, multinational business finance, business math, financial accounting, managerial accounting, microecon, macroecon, and I am sure others too. Those are the ones I asked them about.
It tells you that a calculator is allowed right before you take the exam. It sucks that they don't tell you in the syllabus.

Thank-You I am hoping to try Managerial accounting this week but I wouldn't be able to without a calculator. I'm saving it for last.

So for the first time in 6 exams from Davar, I received an email from RPNow stating that a violation has occurred for my CIS 315 exam. I was sat at my kitchen table, everything cleared off and nothing on the walls or anyone around since it was late. The email states that I have to contact Davar directly:
Quote:The following violation(s) were observed during your last exam. This information has been forwarded to Davar Academy for further review. If Davar Academy determines disciplinary action is required, you will be notified by them directly.

Reference materials on environment view
Now, I seriously don't understand how I would have reference materials on the environment view?? I had one blank sheet of paper which I showed both sides of during the environment scan. So, of course I contacted Davar right away about the issue only to receive an email back stating that I had violations on not one but TWO exams (Meterology and Managerial Com) so apparently NOTCIS like I had received an email for?? And I had not received notice of anything for either of those which I took last week.
Davar is not making it easy. I asked if they had viewed the video themselves and they said no, they also told me that RPNow doesnt send proof of violations. I'm arguing this because when I had an issue at Study.com over a proctor session, they provided me the video to show me what the issue was (at that time, my front facing camera had stopped working and it was facing away from me).
Waiting to see how they'll handle this. I told them I want to know exactly where the violations occurred because I know 100% I did nothing wrong. After the amount of proctored exams I've taken from both study.com and Saylor, I know very well the dos and donts of exam taking.

That's crazy! I also took mine in the dinning room because that is my only table I hope we all don't start getting notices like that I had to talk in my last test to tell my son to go sit down 😓 Keep us posted I hope they don't fail you for doing nothing wrong.
