Study.com- RPNow question
#1
After taking the final exam, it says to wait 15 minutes for the data to upload. Do I need to keep the RPNow software open for 15 minutes or I can close it immediately and just don't turn of the computer within the 15 minutes?

Leave the software open for 15 minutes. I usually set a timer on my phone, but I think the software itself will make a light ping after the countdown is over.

Technically if you have fast internet upload you may not need to worry about keeping it open the full 15 minutes, but they ask for that just in case you have slow internet uploads or there are issues with the upload and it needs to resend the video.

How many days will it take to receive credit for the courses?

Depends. Sometimes, the final grading happens in 2-3 days. Sometimes, it exceeds a week. If your course requires submitting writing assignments, then your final grades will only be visible after your assignments have been graded too. Study.com usually grades assignments quicker. Sometimes, in less than a day.

It depends on how many other exams are in the queue before you I believe. When I first started taking SDC exams, I'd see the exams validated within a few days, towards the end it was taking closer to two weeks.

If the exam is all you're waiting on, you will immediately receive an email that confirms your final score and whether you passed the course. If you still have pending papers or projects, then you'll need to complete those before the final score is confirmed.

FYI, grading on the projects/papers is usually very quick... typically within 24 hours in my experience, though it could theoretically take up to a week as well.

After SDC confirms the final score, it all depends on how quickly you transcribe the course to ACE or send the transcript from SDC to your school.
