if you dont know about APA style papers you'd better get familiar before you start doing UL stuff. It's required for many assignments

Course: Business 108: Business Ethics
Course content: Standard Study.com quizzes and lectures
Final exam format: 100 multiple choice questions
Final exam content vs course content/practice exams: it's the same
Time taken on course: 5 or 6 hours I would guess
Familiarity with subject before course: I have taken other ethics and business courses before
Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: This course is kind of all over the place, doing a little bit of medical, tech, business, environmental, etc ethics. Also there are some questionable assertions in some of the lessons about global warming and abortion and stuff like that. One hilarious section on "business loyalty" had 4 or 5 paragraphs about what employers owe their employees and then about 3 sentences about what employees owe their employers. But whatever, you can always tell what they want you to say.
1-10 Difficulty level: 2. You can pretty much always tell what the "right" answer is, so just give them what they want.

Study.com SOC108 comes in as SOS-216 at TESU. Not sure about how it comes in at Excelsior but I would imagine it's similar

Course: Philosophy 102: Ethics in America
Course content: Standard Study.com quizzes and lectures
Final exam format: 70 multiple choice questions
Final exam content vs course content/practice exams: it's the same
Time taken on course: 5 or 6 hours I would guess
Familiarity with subject before course: I have taken other ethics and business courses before & I specifically chose this one because it was over half completed on Study.com already.
Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: There are alot of ethically questionable assertions in this course. For example, it says that there is no risk of doctors pressuring sick patients to end their own lives if euthanasia is legalized. The "right" answer is generally obvious though and all in all this is an easy course. The hardest part is matching various philosophers with their schools of thought

Course: Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Advanced Accounting
Course content: Wouldn't know, didn't use it.
Final exam format: 70 questions each.
Final exam content vs course content/practice exams: Similar but not identical questions.
Time taken on course: A couple hours each. Helps to open all undone quizzes up and grind through the tabs so you don't have to actively process the amount of tabs you're going through.
Familiarity with subject before course: No familiarity whatsoever.
Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: Just do the quizzes. Don't waste time with the material. You'll pick up what they want you to know by grinding them over and over. Used Google for the Advanced Accounting assignment, which took a few hours more.
1-10 Difficulty level: 1.5.
This was my experience as well, though I only did the latter 3 as I did Managerial Accounting at Saylor and spent time reviewing. The assignments for Cost Accounting and Applied Managerial Accounting look daunting, I've never heard of APA style papers. Still waiting to get my grade for the Advanced Accounting assignment, haven't taken the final or most of the quizzes yet.
Applied Managerial Accounting exam was a similar experience for me. I'll do Cost Accounting tomorrow after work and expect more of the same....the key really is Binging through those quiz questions and then taking the final while they are fresh in your mind. And of course if I don't know the answer to a question, I click the watch video link so I can get their explanation. I got an 86% on the Applied Managerial Accounting final which is actually my best score so far. The fact that they give you formula cheat sheets to use makes it ridiculously easy. I didn't know about the cheet sheets when I did the two Intermediate courses.

I had similar experience with Cost Accounting as well. I didn't put a huge amount of effort into the final assignment and got a score in the 60s. Got 58 out of 70 on the final exam which was plenty.

Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: This course is very simple. You can always read the question and know what the "right" answer is. "Is it better to pay your taxes or not pay your taxes?" stuff like that. The quizzes and final are very easy if you've ever done an ethics course before. The written assignments are slightly more challenging but nothing difficult.

Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: Overall this course is pretty simple, but you should know that in addition to ethics, it spends a good bit of time on logistical supply chains and globalization, which have nothing to do with ethics. Also there's a section on "environmental racism" and dumb stuff like that. So more about the environment, logistics and globalization than about ethics, I would say. Not a tough course though.

Course: Astronomy
Course content: It is done by lesson and has a video in each lesson, alongside the exact transcripts in-case you can’t watch the video.
Final exam format: 50 questions, multiple choice.
Final exam content vs course content/practice exams: The final exam, just like the other exams, needs to have some of the answers re-worded, as the way you are explained things in certain lessons can create some confusion based on how they word their answers for those exact same problems.
Time taken on course: Two weeks, but that is mainly due to my busy schedule at work. Otherwise, it can be done easily within one week.
Familiarity with subject before course: Astronomy has been a favorite subject of mine since I was a child, so I understand the information quite well.
How would you have scored on the final with no preparation? Terribly, but that is due to how the questions were worded and the answers.
Pitfalls, high points, things others should know: There are grammatical errors all over and I discovered a video that skipped a section last night, so the course definitely needs some TLC.
1-10 Difficulty level: It was harder than normal because of the grammatical errors, but I would say a 5.
