Heads up: Residency Waiver Fees MAY go up July 1st
#1
Hi all,
As a heads up residency waiver fees may go up July 1st at TESU.  Sad

Here is the message I got from TESU Financial Aid Office:

Yes, you are correct.  You have to pay both the graduation fee and residency waiver fee by July to graduate in September.  You are also correct that Financial Aid is not permitted to be used for the residency waiver.

The residency waiver may go up July 1st, but no decision for an amount has been made at this time.
If you have any additional questions, please respond to this case.
Thank you,
Senior Student Financial Accounts Specialist

You can pay the residency waiver early but then you are up against the clock having 1 year to complete your degree. Keep in mind Capstone always takes 3 full months just by itself and you need 100 credits to start the capstone.

If you are referring to COSC they didn't go out business. They just changed their policies. Most of COSC grads have 30 ra credits anyways. So I'd hardly call a new policy that affects only a small minority of the students at a school "going out of business." They still exist and you can transfer in all but 6 credits just like TESU.

Idk it makes sense though. They raised the wavier fee last year and I think the year before that. I am not surprised at them possibly raising it again.

Out of this business, I should've been more specific. I did mean the 114 all ACE allowed business.

With residency waiver fees (2800$+), we can do a full semester at WGU
