I was originally evaluated for a BA BIO degree and switched to Nat. Sci/Math after a disappointing eval for the BIO degree. If I recall correctly, I needed Genetics/Cell Biology/Microbiology and several other courses. I remember thinking that if I had to take that many classes, I would just stick with my B&M school which would be cheaper. However, I really don't think it will make much difference which degree I get. I plan to teach and I believe the state board of education will not only look at my degree but I think I could show my additional chiropractic college classes and make a good case that I have plenty of Bio and science credits to be eligible for Alternative Certification.
I'll check with the state board of education before I make a final decision.
