I got the Rudman book and I absolutely hated it. I had serious issues with the answers Rudman said were correct.
OK - I'm sure they are correct, maybe most correct of the choices, but I really felt like I had to research the answer to be sure of it and I simply just did not have enough time to do that.
In the end, I shelved Rudmans and used Instacert and Wikipedia. Wikipedia was right on the mark and filled in Instacert quite nicely.
I had a similar experience with the Rudman's books on both the Civil War and USSR. I aced the Civil War exam and am patiently waiting for my USSR grade. The real benefit that these books offer is a chance to see how DANTES Q&A appear on the actual test as oppossed to the CLEP format. Until someone puts out a more reliable book or study guide the Rudmans book are the only ones out there for DANTES except of course the power of the almighty INSTANTCERT flashcards which to me are the REAL SOURCE of information. Good Luck All!!
