Homeschooling

Indoctrination and "protection" from knowing about homosexuality have nothing to with being a successful student. So what if that is the purpose of some parents? I do not agree with many ways in which parents choose to bring up their children, both public schooled and homeschooled. The issue here is whether homeschooling is a viable alternative to educating children and statistics overwhelmingly back up that it is. Homeschool students *are* educated to the same level or better as public schooled students. The motivation for homeschooling is irrelevant.

If children are being told not to believe the same material that is being taught by the one teaching it, they're not actually being educated. In my mind, it's fine if parents want to do that on their own time, but if they take on the role of educator it becomes a conflict of interest.
