I am capable of teaching my child what he needs to know about sex. It has nothing to do with pretending that homosexuals do not exist. I also cannot pretend that adultery, fornication, rape, teen pregnancies, unwed mothers/fathers, and the like do not exist. However, I do not need to rely on a teacher - who may have questionable morals/values whether heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual -to instruct my child on matters of health, sexual reproduction, or the like. Every parent should be very concerned about the indoctrination that is occurring in their children's school. At the very least, if there are parents who would prefer that a school teach a topic that is so sensitive and personal for each child, then let it be an elective (optional).
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.
