ALEKS & Straighterline Business Statistics

I am doing the ALEKS course in Business Statistics and I am wondering exactly how do I make my grade go up? A 70% is needed to receive credit and I am at 34% with about 50 topics done out of 137. How can I improve my grade? (i.e By looking at explanations less, getting answers correct on the first try?)

I also wanted to know how this course compares with Staighterline. If I finish each and every topic in ALEKS and still do not get a 70% (basically using ALEKS as preparation) - how will I fare in Straighterline? How much harder/easier is it?
