I attended Morehouse College, which is right next door to Spelman College and have cross-registered at Spelman, both schools are apart of the Atlanta University Center. Both schools are very selective in regard to transfer credit. They don't even accept many transfer students into the colleges. They are very selective when it comes to outside credit. I have seen cases where students who have taken credits at brick and mortar schools have had such declined... just because. Transfer credit is generally only approve by the deans of your department.
I'm not surprised at the struggle they gave her though, its quiet typical. lol
@Sanantone Spelman College is ranked higher amongst HBCU's than Howard, it's the number one ranked HBCU.

They have one of the most beautiful college campuses I've seen in the south too, by the way.
