If I take the no retake forward with an explanation collegeboard will have no records of my exam if I want them sent again. I am inclined to just have them send the results with the explanation cause I am in the middle of two courses right now but my question for those of you working on your masters did you have to send you clep transcripts to your school of choice for your masters? If you did I will bite the bullet and retake the exam which will suck as I got a 65 on it.
I'm not certain I understand the question. However, I do know that Excelsior considers CLEP exams Pass/Fail. Personally, as long as I got credit for passing the exam, I wouldn't worry about anything else. Collegeboard has on record that you got a Pass, right? If so, that should be all the CLEP transcript information that a Graduate school would need, or could rightfully use.
I'm not enrolling in grad school. but from what I understand, It doesn't matter whether you get a 51 or an 80 on your CLEPs. The exams do not meet the standards necessary to award a letter grade. I believe that it has something to do with issues of reliability in the exams. But don't quote me on that.
Anyone else know more about this??? Chime in.
