I think you should count your lucky stars that TESU is letting you extend when you can take the exam. I missed an exam over the summer from being so sick that I literally mixing up my exam date. I had been home sick from work and just miserable. TESU wouldn't extend for me nor would ProctorU. I was specifically told they COULDN'T extend, so I had to pay the $111 again.
Second, I took another TECEP exam on Sunday and have to say it was the best experience I've had with ProctorU. I registered the day before the exam, and it only took about 3-5 minutes to go through the wait time and verification once I logged in. Previously I registered pretty far in advance and often had to wait an hour or more for a proctor.
