TESU portfolio tips

It wasn't just an assertion: I copied and pasted the email I got from TESU in September 2013 about the two different rates for PLA credits. Here it is again.



So, at least at some point in time, there were two rates. Having said that, it's entirely possible that the higher rate no longer exists--but I don't know that for sure, and hearing it here from you all, as obviously knowledgeable as you all are, is not enough evidence to persuade me YET. I would truly love to hear from:

• TESU students
  
• who have had TESU evaluate their portfolios (not just had TESU accept credit for portfolios evaluated elsewhere)
  
• who have not taken TESU's PLA-100/200 and who have taken equivalent courses elsewhere such as Kaplan (or had portfolios evaluated elsewhere)
  
• and who paid the $379/12 credit rate.
  

From the email you provided, it looks like TESU no longer offers that type of "single course" option. That was how PLAs were done under the old system. A couple of years ago, TESU created the Per Credit Tuition Plan and changed how PLAs were done. That email you quoted sounds like they were in the transition period.
