We need to pass an exam at the midway point, in order to continue the degree program. Based on the practice tests, it appears that there will be one final-level multi-part problem for each class. We'll have about an hour for each one.
Try to find out how many questions, question types, and the length of time you will have. Also, ask if you will be allowed to have a calculator and any notes. Is it pass/fail? Will you be allowed more than one attempt? If so, how often is it given?
You've made it this far; I know that you won't let this new hurdle stop you from successfully completing your degree!
I have a 4.0. I'll be fine. I wasn't posting to get sympathy or test taking advice. I am very capable. I just wanted to know how common it is for them to change requirements mid stream.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.
