Study.com vs. Straighterline

I haven't taken SL courses (and I'm a pretty big Study.com supporter), so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I'd imagine Study.com would be quicker. I believe SL has intermittent assignments prior to the final, but Study.com only counts the final exam (there are some quick un-proctored quizzes you need to complete to unlock the exam, however). I did the two courses I took through them at about a week per course pace.

That said, some folks don't like the entire credit for the course to be based on one final exam, so SL might work better for you. And plenty of people have finished SL courses in a matter of days.

I too would go with Study.com. Quicker and easier than Straighterline

:confused: That's interesting... I would have said the opposite.

I worked super hard and spent many hours on them, but got 24 credits in a little over 2 months on SL. That is the opposite of what having two months of regular Study.com membership recently did for me. I found the cutesy format did not motivate me at all, and I am almost afraid to do the $200/2 course monthly membership as I don't know if I'd finish two courses in that time.

I guess it all comes down to learning styles
