Should I just focus on a BSBA in General Management then apply for Accounting Grad School? As others have said, MBA programs typically do not have prereqs because they serve different purposes than MS Accounting programs. MSA programs are usually for accounting majors to meet the 150 hour requirement for the CPA, but there are a few MSA programs which are specifically for non-accounting (or even non-business) majors. It's a good idea to check the program you are interested in to confirm the program structure and entry requirements, and since you seem to have your mind set on one specific program, it might also be a good idea to talk to someone at UAlbany about your intentions so that they can give you some specific advice.
