I would urge you to contact the state licensing board AND GET THE RESULT IN WRITING if at all possible. CPA is just one of those areas that isn't fully on board with advances in online and alternative credit in many states.
There is no point in pushing ahead with gaining credit that will not, in the end, have the desired result.
Have you considered using a hybrid model of testing out where you can (English, Social Science, Humanities, etc) and just taking the 16 RA courses to get the exact 48 credits you need? These 48 credits can likely be had at a RA school for around $4800. I would use your local Community College or a Regionally Accredited school with a significant online presence. Luna CC of New Mexico and New Mexico Junior College are incredibly cheap and offer an array of online options for you. You could probably do most or all of the 48 there and test out of the rest. CSU-Pueblo and The university of Idaho Independent Studies programs could round out any needed upper level work (maybe).
There are a lot of options but you will not find the expertise or support you need from College Plus.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
