I disagree. Not all do and I listed 4 examples below.
Now if your University does not have a chapter it might NOT go on your official transcript. They may only allow the ones they control (local Chapter).
I have one of my 6 on my official transcript. This is not a big deal to me as you have the official certificates in hand as proof (resume etc.).
