Study.com scholarship question

I applied for the Guardian scholarship. When I did the application it didn't say anything about posting on Facebook. After I applied I got an email that said they award it based on how they like your response as well as how other students like the response. Then it said we encourage you to post it on our facebook page...but they didn't give a link to any facebook page. Did any of you have to post on facebook in order to get the scholarship? It would have been nice if they'd told me about that while I was applying since I submitted it without saving what I'd written in the box. I haven't heard back from them. How long does it take to get it if you do?
