I am taking my first class on SL while I wait for my final 2 exams on study.com. Just a question for you all..
I am taking the Business Statistics course. For SL (or that course specifically if you took it), what are the graded exams based off of? The chapters in the etextbook, the powerpoints, or something else? It just seems like a LOT of information for this class and I wasn't sure which source I should pinpoint to successfully pass those exams.
Thank you!!!!
The final exam questions will come from your earlier test questions.
Hello and thanks for the response.
So just to clarify - the grade is made up of those 6 graded quizzes and then the proctored final exam. Are you saying that all the final exam questions will come from those graded quiz questions?
If so, since they allow a double-sided sheet of notes for the proctored exam, could I just print out the past graded quiz questions or as many that would fit on the paper?
Thanks again!
I used to print out quizzes for my teens to study from. I have a duplexing laser printer (double sided). Even if you shrink the font, you're looking at 25 pieces of double-sided paper. Best just to review and study imo.
Hi Jennifer and everyone else,
I have managed to almost memorize all the vocabulary words/terms from the class. Would those vocab words cover most of the final or a good percentage anyway? Or from your experience, are SL final exams not so much vocab word type questions?
Now this is a completely different version of the Business Statistics course I completed with SL, but with that said - Knowing the terms and their definitions was very helpful when I took the course. It does appear that it is still open book, which is good news. I found searching in the glossary and index a great way to get around. Sometime the glossary if great when you get a definition type question and you're not sure if it is A or B - looking up the word can often help you rule things out. Knowing what is wrong can often be more useful than knowing what is correct on a multiple choice exam like these.
I would recommend going over the final summary chapter and the PowerPoint you mentioned. I would be surprised if it didn't contain helpful information for the final exam.
