Look at it from TESU's point of view. They don't consider Shmoop courses to be acceptable as college credit. They are grudgingly accepting them from people who they SPECIFICALLY promised transferability, but they would refuse them if they could. They certainly don't want to open the door to making MORE promises since the courses don't measure up (from their POV).
