Depends on your background. I've done a lot of reading about the colonies and the founding era, so I found US History I the easiest. Most of it was stuff I already knew, whereas all the bazillion political parties that started around 1900 or so that were covered in US History II totally baffled me. hilarious
Macro was easier than micro. If you're mathematically minded and like graphs, macro might be the easiest choice. If you despise graphs (like me) and like history (like me), I'd vote for History I.
