Quote:What about Eastern New Mexico University or one of many New Mexico community colleges? First take the CLEP and then whatever courses you need. 4 courses would be like $1,500 or so total but would likely have to be taken sequentially on their schedule.
Thanks, I just checked and my public university considers 201,202 at New Mexico colleges an elective that does not fulfill the requirement for the same reason they will not take credits from my local community college. They do not consider the courses equivalent. At my college its 4cr + 4cr + 4cr + 4cr 101,102,201,202. But at pretty much every flipping college in the US its 4cr + 4cr + 3cr + 3cr. That was a good suggestion and the price is crazy cheap compared to any college I have been to.
If anyone knows of a state college that follows the 4,4,4,4cr format that would do the trick. The only one I know of is Rio.
So the University will accept the first two classes from my local community college. But what I find interesting is that my local community college only requires a 50 vs 55 to test out of two classes and under 50 to test out of the first class. Do you think its possible I can clep at the community college then just transfer the credits over to the university?
