I realize there are going to be some costs associated with such a program, but you always seem to have the inside scoop on programs that are not as bank account draining. If you have a DBA or are currently enrolled in a DBA program, I'd love to hear from you!
I live in Charlotte, and while UNCC has a good name, is it $85k good? I don't see it. That's one heck of a price tag imo. If I were in your shoes and had that kind of cash to spend, I'd either use it at Chapel Hill (which would certainly trump Charlotte) or somewhere with a much more prestigious name. (Edit to add, I checked Chapel Hill and they don't offer a DBA, but they do offer a PhD- so maybe not a good fit)
Not sure if you're open to distance learning, but this thread has a nice list of very prestigious options https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ne-Degrees
I'd also suggest checking out Degree Info's list before deciding for sure. https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?for...egrees.20/
You asked if anyone has a DBA, and I do not, so take my advice for what it's worth. However, I have just started doing some research for my MBA husband who will likely select a DBA program within the next 2 years.
