Do you know why UNCC is that expensive for a DBA program?  One simple and single answer.  The accreditation is AACSB.  Now ask yourself, are you looking for only AACSB accreditation or will you accept the ACBSP accredited programs?  

I won’t bother with schools that only have RA accreditation or with the IACBE which is the third type of accreditation, it’s the least recognized and smallest programmatic accreditation for Business.  These schools sometimes will cost much less, if not always, and at least a third of the price of UNCC.

My understanding is that a DBA is almost entirely a degree for tenure-track professors. Is there a stigma against ACBSP accredited DBAs on hiring committees?
