It's a point of confusion for me, because I received this e-mail from their admissions office several weeks ago:
"In your situation, being a student who already holds a bachelor’s degree, you will need to complete a minimum of 24 credits including the required capstone for the degree. These credits must be in the area of study and/or core of the degree. Additionally, students must complete all other degree requirements. These can be completed through transfer credits. Both the capstone and SOS-110 need to be completed with TESU."
That sounds like that SOS-110 still needs to be completed anyway for outside degree-holders. If that's still correct, it comes off as a bad joke to leash an entry-level general studies cornerstone course onto people who already have completed any sort of BA/BS degree. Capstone is fully understandable, though.
I would contact them again, and refer to the policy as stated on the website, and make them say that it only applies to students who hold a BA/BS from TESU.
I'm guessing whoever sent that email to you is incorrect; it happens frequently with TESU.
