I have Windows 10 pro and just did a new installation. This happened to me last time but I just took the test and their proctoring service was fine with me using chrome on my computer it seems.
Their PSI secure browser does not display the exam. I've downloaded flash like they ask.
I had the same issue. After multiple tech support people (with varying levels of competence), we figured out that the proctoring system doesn't work with 10 Pro, only with the standard version of Windows 10. There's some extra security protocol (???) In 10 Pro that prevents their software from functioning.
I have some four letter words to describe such a ridiculous situation that leaves only Windows 8 and Windows 10 standard users able to take their ASU exams, but it is what it is. I had 98% and 95% averages in the lead-up to the exams, and had to abandon both courses due to the proctoring company ASU uses. I suggested to ASU that they clarify the wording on their courses to make clear that users with 8 and 10 Pro versions of Windows cannot complete their courses, but I see no change has been made.
ASU did say that there are three courses that require no proctoring, so if your reason for this is to apply for a degree, you can still complete the minimum of 3 for Earned Admission. Otherwise, the suggestion was to borrow a laptop from a friend - during a time of lockdown, I'm not sure this is such a great idea, and for me it just wasn't an option.
