I agree with raycathode, they don't take that much time. The courses generally consist of 2-3 hours of video per week, the Cerego flashcards, and a quiz of some kind. I don't know how well you do with spoken English, but even if you have to watch the videos twice or at half-speed then it's really only 4-6 hours of study per week. (The video transcripts are also available for download.) For Human Origins in particular, there are also 50 PDFs to download over the 8 weeks of the course but I didn't spend much time on those. I downloaded them, glanced over them, saved them to read for later (because they're interesting) but pretty much everything you need to know is in the videos. Take notes and/or download the transcripts to study for the midterm & final exam.
There are multiple suggested readings on other sites and an entire reading list of books in the course but, again, these are entirely optional.
