Upper-level English courses

[dfrecore]

UMPI has an English competency based degree program.  You can also try the Harvard Extension Poetry In America series, they were $250 each, now they're $1000, but you'll get Harvard under your belt!  And these can be graduate credits...

Thanks for your info.
I may look up some other self-paced RA courses or extension school courses like that.
$1k per a course is too expensive for me.

And you're right!

I found many upper-level English courses on BYU self-paced!

All of them are upper levels and $600 each:

https://is.byu.edu/catalog/ENGL-361-M003
https://is.byu.edu/catalog/ENGL-362-M002
https://is.byu.edu/catalog/ENGL-366-M002
https://is.byu.edu/catalog/WRTG-312-M001
https://is.byu.edu/catalog/WRTG-313-M001

I'd check with the school you're planning on going to, I'm guessing some of these won't be considered UL (Am Lit), or might not be considered ENG/LIT (WRTG313).

A syllabus is good to get - something showing why the course should be brought in as you want (UL) is a good start.

Hello,

Which regionally accredited competency-based online program will give me the most amount of upper-level English courses?

and is there any ACE credit course provider that will give me at least six to seven upper-level English courses?

Thanks,

First, it depends on which school you want to go to as to how they will bring in credit.

Study.com has 2 UL English courses (ENG 301: Non-Western Literature & ENGL 305: Advanced Technical Writing).
Coopersmith has 1 UL English course (LIT-401: Medieval Hispano-Jewish Poetry)
