I know some course providers don't always renew, but it doesn't make a lot of sense for them to not keep the active courses on the ACE website and allow them to be taken but then expire and go away due to attrition. They paid good money to get ACE-recommended, so it's odd.
This makes me wonder what happened behind the scenes. Like were they in trouble with ACE and this settled it?
I was sort of thinking something along those lines. Just for the heck of it, I looked at what it costs to become certified with ACE or NCCRS. It ain't cheap. Looks like somewhere around $12000-15000 just to get your foot in the door with a few courses and then $1000-1500 for each additional course, and a $1500-5000 annual renewal. So one has to sell a good number of courses (or have a different revenue model) to make it viable.
