Hi BJ, I have a question.  

Have you come across course providers asking for personal information such as SSN, passport, drivers license and more?

Here's an email from one of the course providers.  Are all of this information necessary?  I filled their application form.

Hey, It all depends on which course provider you're taking the classes from.  

Some may require a bit more personal details, others just require the basics.

An example, for TEEX, they have a field for your SSN in the application, but that's an optional field.
