In order to graduate, I only need to take Organizational Behavior and two electives. I am tempted to take a couple courses that I know I can complete quickly, like Marketing Management and Business Math, and stick with the minor.
That said, I would only need to take three project management courses to add it as a concentration. I do not currently plan on becoming a project manager as my interest is more in information systems and the psychological study of management. It seems like certifications may be much more important for getting into project management. Though, if having a double concentration is much better than having a minor, then maybe I should go with that.
So, I am wondering, how much better is having a double concentration than having a concentration and minor?
Any thoughts/advise would be greatly appreciated.
Well, no you can't complete both the concentration and minor. The minor courses are part of the concentration. Are you a YourPace student? There isn't a PM & MIS concentration in YourPace. There's the PM concentration and the PM and MIS minors.
You don't need to have 2 concentrations. If you want 2 then you have to select 2 that don't have course overlaps I believe. These are questions for your academic advisor.
