UMPI Degree with 2018 ACE Credits

varJosh, you said that you have 13 RA credits to transfer to TESU. I am assuming that those 13 were not earned at TESU, looked through your old posts and didn’t see any references to taking courses there. If that is the case and you plan to only do the 2 required courses, you know you will have to pay the residency fee waiver—currently $3,192, right?  This is on top of your tuition for the 2 courses and required fees.

Someone more knowledgeable can correct me on this, but my understanding is that student aid does not cover that $3,192.

So, is that piece of paper worth the money?  Personally, I wouldn’t think so. If you think it is worth it or if somebody is going to pay that for you, why not?

Nope, those are CC credits.

I thought as long as there are 16 RA credits applied to the degree, I'd be in the clear. Well, that blows that option out of the window. I guess I'm waiting for Jan. 18.

And, yes, I would pay a college for a diploma, considering all the hours studying, and papers written, and tests taken to earn that piece of paper. freeloader, this means a lot to me. This isn't a willy nilly journey for me. I have a lot of people riding on me learning and getting a decent paying job with what I learned.
