Texas A&M University-Commerce competency based degree

I'm not on a border parish. I'm in an internal parish. And apparently, that gets you in-state tuition BUT with a $30-per-credit-hour fee. So $900 plus the tuition for however many semesters it takes you to finish. An advisor told me several students have finished in two semesters, so those fees plus enrollment fee plus graduation fee... a two-semester completion would cost $1960 total.

I'm on the fence and leaning against it as I already have a bachelor's degree and don't really need a second one. But I'm hooked on education/learning and am always interested in trying something new that comes up on the forum and reporting back what it's like. Part of me wants to do it just to see. Part of me says "Don't waste your money and time."
