Also, I majored in History and you're looking at a BLS. That said, I've attached a plan for classes at Study.com that should fulfill the general education curriculum requirements.
I should note, however, that this would cost about $1,160 on SDC and take three months if you do five classes per. Many of these requirements could also be met on Sophia for much less.
Also, there are several here who would recommend you take, for example, the English classes at UMPI and the Spanish somewhere other than SDC (I took Spanish II on SDC and passed with an 82%, but it took me an entire month). All of this is to say that, while this plan could be followed to complete the GEC on Study.com, it's only one option and some folks would recommend against certain aspects of it.
If I went with UMPI I would be doing History not BLS. I think I have the Gen Ed sorted already, it's the core I struggle with lol Think Ive figured out the 10 courses to take at UMPI if I go that route.
The history requirements are attached. You can take care of the two POS classes with your GEC fulfillment if you plan correctly, as well as the first foreign language requirement, and one of the US History classes (say, US History I). I'd try to take US History II and Spanish II before enrollment as well. That would leave you with ten classes in your major.
If you should decide to save a couple GEC classes for UMPI, you could also take a couple UL History classes on SDC. If you do that, I'd recommend both the Vietnam classes, as there's a lot of overlap and they'd both fill slots.
