Every single degree on the planet has courses that people don't find interesting or relevant. That's just part of college.
I'm quite old enough to grasp this concept in life, but it's not the spirit of what I said.
Choosing from a very limited and ill-fitting selection of quick/ez options just to earn enough credit "in time" is not my mission. Within reason, I'd prefer to take relevant courses, enough if it takes longer.
