That's not accurate, according to my transcripts, only 10% of my credits are free elective, another 10% are optional courses, and the rest (80%) are core and compulsory.
Given that statement, wouldn't it make sense to pursue a Bachelor of science on Mechanical Engineering, to try to get transferred as many credits as possible (due to similarity of programs), so I have less to complete?
