How long do transcripts from SDC and Credly take to arrive at UMPI?

The transcripts seem quick from my experience, but it's the degree audit that takes them some time.

Is there any way to know when UMPI receives your transcripts? I've only seen when the transfer credits are added, but I never had an academic evaluation. My first round of transcripts was sent six months ago, and they took two months to show up. I received permission to send my next round of transcripts three weeks ago, and no update since. Of the six schools to which I've submitted transcripts, UMPI is far and away the slowest to process them.

Not really. It's not like they show up in your MaineStreet account not until after they're evaluated. They aren't processed by UMPI. The U of M system processes the applications and some of the transcripts now. This changed last year and it has drastically slowed down the process. When I reapplied last summer (2021) to go back for my second bachelor's degree, it still took almost a month for everything to be processed. I contacted Shea and was like what is going on - it shouldn't take this long. I'm already a graduate and I had great grades so that's not the issue. She said the system is just really slow now and that the U of M system is now processing applications. I would NOT wait until the deadline to apply. I'd apply now and send all transcripts now. Sending an updated transcript seems to go much faster once you're accepted and in the system.
