For anyone reading this thread looking for updates, I wanted to share that I sent an email on 12/19/22 to TEEX asking if their Cybersecurity courses are going to have their ACE certification renewed, Specifically, I have enrolled in the AWR 397 Cybersecurity for Everyone course. That course's ACE Accreditation expired on 10/31/22. This was the reply from the Program Coordinator:
"Thank you for contacting Career Services about the Cybersecurity course AWR397 and ACE credit. You will receive full credit once you have completed this course. The Cybersecurity courses were going through their standard review by ACE and are being updated on the ACE website within the next few days. Should you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Respectfully, Program Coordinator II"
I plan to take as many of the Cybersecurity courses as Pierpont will accept for the emphasis in information technology on their BOG AAS. I hope Pierpont accepts them.
