I will throw out this idea, and it is more general career oriented VS what this forum specializes in (accelerating degrees and using alt credits). Have you considered trying to get some GIS coursework and go back into intel as geospatial? GIS is fairly technical, which could fit the credits you have now, it is in demand in the intelligence world, and despite your lapse in clearance, I know of people who have done entirely different work or come from outside the intel world and landed positions. With government, you just have to have the degree required (none for intel series) plus have 52 weeks at SOME point on your resume for the HR to put you in the qualified bin. From there you've cleared the gatekeeping obstacles and just have to land the interview like a normal job. My recommendation is stay away from the IC and land an intel job in a non-intel agency, where remote work is more possible. Just a possibility and food for thought. Finding a way to align what you've already done with what you can do in the future has served me well personally, and I've gradually expanded my depth and breadth building from what I've done in the past; academically, personally and professionally.
