If your data point is in between these two dates, you should take the extra Associates as it's FREE! One word of advice, have a phrase or sentence such as, "I am really interested in Computer Science and need this Associates to get 18 credits within that subject matter, this is used for teaching and it's a requirement.
I'm going to guess that it's related to the BSAST too closely, so they won't grant it. I have a BSBA/HR from TESU, and I could not go back to TESU and get a BACS or BA in History (for instance) and add an ASBA - they just wouldn't allow it. Nor will they allow me to get a BSBA in some other AoS. I could get a certificate in something else, but not another BSBA.
