If you need more UL credit and don't like the SDC offerings, there's also https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera The IBM Full Stack Software Developer Professional Certificate should give you CLD-4200, which ought to be an AOS elective. If you can finish in 1-2 months (totally doable), $50-$100 is a dang good price for 18 UL & LL credits.
Just noticed you're currently in the BACS and BSBA CIS program. Did you go through the IBM Full Stack cert? I just finished the Intro to Cloud Computing course and starting on the Intro to Web Development. Cloud Computing was SUPER boring, hopefully the other courses will be a bit more hands-on/enjoyable. I'm trying to get through the whole cert in less than a month.
I have a stupid question, is there a site you all use to verify the credits/classes TESU will apply to your transfer credits/courses? Just want to ensure these courses will satisfy the CS AOS electives.
I have not done the IBM Full Stack certificate yet. I'm currently working on a bunch of other things and just haven't had the time. But I can say that, based on experience, the Coursera certificates tend to be kind of boring/bland. It's just the nature of the beast. To be fair, traditional classes are often very similar, if not worse.
As for how we verify classes, credits, it's this site! When people transfer classes to TESU, UMPI, etc., they report here what happened. Once we have equivalencies, they go on the wiki. Study.com does have its own list of equivalencies, though: https://study.com/college/school/thomas-...rsity.html But Coursera is entirely thanks to other students taking these certificates and transferring them to TESU in the past.
