I woudn't go as far as saying the entire college industry is a scam; Atleast it doesn't reflect my experience. I think the courses I took at TESU & WGU were actually pretty good, especially the business classes, and closed book exams + writing business cases were a good way to test out knowledge.
That being said, now with chatGPT, you could probably copy-paste the entire business case and have it write papers for you; at least, we are not too far from that. Any market that gets disrupted needs time to adapt, and so it's probably gonna take us a couple of years to figure out this one and what it means for education.
