Hmm, HAU MBA + Kairos University Masters of your choice and finish both in two years. Probably cost half the price at $10K if you finish in that time and have the HAU $3K MBA still being offered at that price...
My thoughts as well, bjcheung77.
As I've found in my career, deeper skills in Philosophy and Business are a powerful combination.
See the upcoming Master's in Liberal Arts (Philosophy) program at Fort Hays State University (FHSU) :
https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...phy-Online
Total costs may be about USD $10,000
Also: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid411948 So HAU have reinstituted the USD $3000 MBA for now.
Also, Western Governors (WGU) has a more rapid completing MBA (or other Management Master's) if one thinks that one can do all in one term for under USD $5000 per term.
This is possible, it seems, because evaluation is focused in most courses on:
>1-3 papers and/or
>1-2 comprehensive tests.
So if one already knows the material, it's like testing out.
For example, re WGU see for a course-by-course how-to:
https://www.reddit.com/r/WGU_MBA/comment...eleration/
The advantage of University of Mary (UoM) is fewer total courses and a cohort system.
Given that many Master's in Arts/Sciences or MLS programs encourage 4-5 out-of-field courses, 18 credits in-field and 12-18 out is not unusual in the USA.
The MLS in Philosophy link above is an example.
So UoM has thought this through. 18 CRH with another 18 out-of-field works academically.
I note that the UoM Business courses are on core 'harder' and 'mathy' topics one sees in a typical MBA, and the social topics in a Business Master's/MBA are covered in the Philosophy courses.
Note also BUS 680 - Business and Catholic Social Teaching is basically a Philosophy course.
Also, I've verified it is ONE UoM diploma stating both MBA and MA Philosophy, not two discrete diplomas.
So it's less money with e.g. WGU + FHSU BUT 67 CRH at around USD $13,000-15,000,
OR USD $20,000 at UoM but 36 CRH (half the work).
It's a tough choice...I'm looking for more data myself.
FHSU and WGU or the Hellenic program are attractive. They're completely online.
UoM has an on-campus Summer intensive, and also has accreditation of its business program.
Plus 2500 years of in-house Catholic and pre-Catholic pezzonovante philosophers.
Plus given their music program, possibly singing nuns. Can't forget the nuns.
