I am just sharing possibly just vent on my indecisions,
I am at a crossroads for the BLS with minor in psychology or just for the BA in psychology
Here’s are thoughts that’s making me rethink my path
1) BLS with minor in psychology not any faster to complete
2) BLS with minor in psychology is it reputable versus a BA in psychology, seems just more focused degree and I perceive it as more legitimate degree sorry(just personal opinion)
For BLS plus minor in psychology
I still have 6 GEC UMPI courses to go once enrolled then completing about 12 more upper level courses that are mandatory to take at UMPI (includes core courses, UL courses and minor psychology courses)
Or
Similar scenario with the psychology BA route just more core courses in psychology that are mandatory at UMPI and the 6 GEC UMPI mandatory courses to go.
Essentially both would take about the same amount of courses needed to complete about 19 classes
The link is updated with anything in yellow as UMPI courses that I need to take
Also thinking if anyone has laddering up ideas for a masters in the future. Would like to pursue it next year
I
What's your goal in this? If you want to go onto grad school for psych, go with the BA in Psych.
Why do you still need 6 GEC courses? You can transfer the entire GEC into UMPI which is highly recommended.
