Who cares if someone uses Sophia to get credits quickly. You said that you use the library. What if they do too. You can go to the library and learn about the history of Western Civilization and will probably learn just as much on a college course. Maybe someone doesn't need to take a traditional class because they use the library like you do. Traditional college is sometimes less focused. There were many times in my traditional classes where the professors used class time to discuss their own life problems. I have also had traditional classes where the class before the test the professor gave us the answers to the test. Also, in traditional classes sometimes the professor is so awful they have to scale the grades because the professor would look bad by failing the whole entire class.
I think you are talking one-off scenarios. I took history and philosophy in undergrad and these classes sparked TONS of meaningful conversations and debates that you just don't see online.  By and large in person classes are going to be more comprehensive. If someone told me their A and P lab exam on Sophia was the same as my 7am 30 second station cadaver A and P lab exam,  again I would call them delusional.

I don't care if someone uses Sophia, my example was just an example of how the content isn't up to par. There is a reason why most colleges snub their noses at ACE credits.

The original thread question was about collecting degrees. That is what I was commenting on originally.
Well you got a few different answers to your original question and decided to dismiss them and call it a complex. So I suspect you are not actually interested in hearing what anybody’s real motivations are, but have your own opinion of it and are looking for confirmation. So if you want to think it’s a complex, you’re welcome to that opinion. Have a nice day!
Actually, I really didnt get any answers other than this is my time and money and I do what I want. It is an answer....I suppose lol

I am sorry but I don't think anyone is trying to find an answer that will seek your approval. This is a forum that promotes education and you have turned this into a negative experience. I am done with this back and forth with you. The best thing for me to do is block you. You have acted this way on other discussions on this board towards me. Honestly I am trying to tune out the negativity.
