Wow, I wish I had posted here sooner, you guys just saved me a lot of effort and money! Thank you!! I had developed my plan using info from this site and elsewhere but my misunderstanding of the transfer policy cost me some time and money already I see now. I am already enrolled at TESU and was going to take 27 credits there + 3 or 6 more in TECEPs. Knowing what I now know, here's what my plan would be:
Your Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Your Age: 35
What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelors in Computer Science
Current Regional Accredited Credits: 152 Community college credits - 2 associates degrees (Automotive Electronics Technology, Accounting)
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: 25 (18 transferred so far plus 7 completed but not yet transferred)
Any certifications or military experience?: Automotive certifications, nothing relevant
Budget: <$10k hopefully
Commitments: Small business owner, currently ~2-4 hr/wk avg but working on securing a contract which would be a 40+ hrs/wk commitment
Dedicated time to study: 10-12 hrs/day, 7 days a week
Timeline: ASAP
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: Federal student loan
