I started rounding up my transcripts today so I can start planning a course of action. I guess I'll hold off on the straighterliner courses until I'm really clear on if TESC will except the courses.

Welcome to the board! I wouldn't roll the dice with Straighterline, you can instead do ALEKS -- Assessment and Learning, K-12, Higher Education, Automated Tutor, Math from home. You simply pay $20 per month. (you can probably find a code for your first month free, some codes allow for 2 months free). The $20 is for unlimited use, so if you can finish in a month, you'll get 3 algebra credits for $20! (or free if you found a code) There is an extensive thread here on ALEKS, and TESC does for sure accept the credit.
I did my BA in social science, so let me know if I can help. As you know, you must pay the yearly fee, so waiting is usually what the informed people here do

It looks to me like you could be finished with your "first year" of college by Christmas!
