Basically, they're going with the Honor Code, where you're not getting extra external help from another person for example. For assignments and written work, I use tools such as Grammarly and WordCounter, as I like to make sure I have more than the requirements. For example, a 3000 word assignment, I'd like to make sure I reach much more than what is required.
It's just me, I like going slightly over the minimum requirements... Grammarly and WordCounter, etc, are tools to assist you, they're not doing the homework for you like what ChatGPT. People use the internet for citation help, making sure they know the APA or MLA requirements, etc. You're getting info to assist you with your written work.
